Top 15 American Muscle Cars (2018)

7. Plymouth Road Runner

Muscle cars have seen an increase in price by the late 1960s, and this was an opportunity for Chrysler’s Plymouth to show its skills. They came up with the Road Runner, which was a back-to-the-roots muscle car. It was all about a 7.0-liter Hemi V8 and the raw power it produced. Furthermore, the Road Runner had a unique but simple design, but later models failed to be equally good as the ones from the early 1970s and with the Road Runner gone, the entire Plymouth brand collapsed.
