There are many different vehicles in the world, which are all special and useful in their own way. However, thanks to the people’s devotion and love for something more and unique, they have gone to great lengths to make their models custom. The results are sometimes special and amazing, while at other times they can be quite weird and plain crazy. In this article, we will check out 36 of the weirdest rides people have come up with.
1. Beer Can Car
The maker of this crazy vehicle sure loves beer, as he used hundreds of empty beer cans he drank to assemble this car.
2. Batman Tractor
Inspired by the Christopher Nolan Batman Trilogy, this tractor is worthy of the Caped Crusader. It would look great in the Batcave.
3. Scrap Metal Snowmobile
If the Mad Max movie series took place on snowy plains instead of a dessert, we assume something like this would be used by those crazy post-apocalyptic survivors.
4. Monster Truck Honda Civic
Why would you do something like this to an innocent old Civic? This Honda model is a popular car for modifications, but rarely does someone use giant tractor wheels on it.
5. Leaf Blower Inflatable
This inflatable pool toy has been equipped with a leaf blower to propel it forward instead of an engine. Smart thinking by this guy.
6. Picnic Motorboat
This picnic table has been marvelously equipped and customized to float and move on water. It has a small engine like any other fishing boat would, and around 6 people can gather around it and have a good time. This seems like an amazing idea when you think about it!
7. Weird Camo Paintjob
This paint job seems like camouflage, but we are not sure what it is supposed to look like. It seems like a combo of snakeskin and bananas, and it is not pretty, that is for sure.
8. Road Devil Camaro
This old Chevy Camaro has been turned into a half tank half car hybrid, which is probably not road legal. It seems as if it cannot move as well. The cannon from the hood and the giant horn both look silly, while the tank track in the back does seem quite innovative.
9. Wooden Spoilers
This poor little coupe has been fitted with the wooden bumper on the back, a wooden wing spoiler, and wooden side skirts. We seriously think this is a result of a funny joke, and that nobody will seriously drive something like this down the street!
10. Too Much Hay
This truck has a massive, unreal amount of hay attached to its back and roof. This cannot be safe to do and it is definitely not recommended. Imagine if it falls off. They will be looking for the track in that much hay for hours.
11. High Riding Lawnmower
This silly lawnmower has a custom high suspension, and for what reason exactly we are not sure. This does not help the owner in any way, except making him have a unique little vehicle.
12. Weapons upgrade
This soldier is having fun with his friends, and they attached him to the military plane. He is acting as the primary weapon system for the aircraft, attached by straps and aiming down his M-16 assault rifle. Good times in the army!
13. Cow Motorcycle
This guy went full redneck and combined his three-wheel chopper with a stuffed cow. If that is something he enjoys doing, we are fully for it! We wonder though how well does this thing move, and can it actually go among other traffic.
14. Floating Tires Motorcycle
This three-wheeled motorcycle has been fitted with inflated floating tires, however, it does not seem that capable of navigating bodies of water. We simply would not dare!
15. Wooden Motorcycle
There are many operating wooden motorcycles in the world. This one looks sturdy and mobile enough. It is a great piece of engineering, and we hope it is road legal and that the owner has fun with it.
16. Motorhome
This old pickup truck has tons of equipment in the back. What is more, on the top of the custom roof, the truck has a large tent that serves as a mobile home for a few people. It does not seem attached that well, resulting in an untrustworthy makeshift RV.
17. Makeshift Hot Rod
This open-engine car seems like it has been put together from scrap parts that came from an old garage. The small shack in the back is an interesting detail, but we are not sure what it is for. Why do we have a feeling that it sounds like it is falling apart while it moves?
18. Upgraded Horse Drawn Carriage
This fellow has fitted his poor wooden makeshift carriage with a shell of an old car. It gave it a new look, but it seems quite dangerous to ride around in that thing. His horse is probably confused as hell!
19. Home Made ATV
This looks like a base form an old ATV, fitted with what tires these guys could find at a scrapyard. What is more, it only has an awful bench on top of the engine, and nothing else. This cannot be at all comfortable or satisfying to drive.
20. Boat Monster Car
This monster truck has a fishing boat as its shell. Tractor tires and suspension have benefitted underneath, and together, these pieces make a rather weird vehicle that probably has heads all the time.
21. Monster Three Wheel Tricycle
This interesting tricycle has a giant tractor wheel in the front, and two small wheels in the back. Because of this, the seat is quite high from the ground. It is pedal operated, and this guy seems rather proud of his unique design.
22. Santa Claus Sleigh ATV
The ATV of this fellow has been made to look like Santa’s sleigh, complete with a set of 8 reindeers, and Rudolf in the front leading them! He probably uses it to drive around his neighborhood during Christmas and amazes the kids in his costume.
23. Outhouse Scooter
This silly scooter has an outhouse toilet as its seat. Why would someone drive this around? Just no!
24. Hanging Nuts
This car detail has been a trend in the past years. It is an ornament that resembles human testicles, which dangle away from the hook of your car. It is childish, but if you have a sense of humor and are not easily offended, they are hilarious! There is also a red light variant for your bicycle.
25. Another Kind of Monster Truck
Monster trucks have that recognizable suspension and a set of four giant wheels. This one, however, lacks the latter, and the result is extremely funny. This looks like when a strong gym guy skips leg day, and is big and muscular on top, while his legs are extremely skinny. Never skip leg day!
26. Makeshift Tank
This small SUV has been put on top of an old tank. It looks like it is just a piece to look at, as we believe that the tank is too old to move around like it used to.
27. VIP Seat Truck
The bed of this old truck is missing, and the owner decided to put a child car seat on the spare tire. That is it for the back end of this bad boy. We seriously hope they do not drive their baby in this monstrosity!
28. Picnic / Party Van
This old Ford van has a makeshift platform on the roof, which serves as a place for a picnic. The table can probably seat 4 – 5 people, and they have awesome equipment like a functioning grill and an umbrella. Awesome thing to have and use regularly with the friends who are equally crazy as you!
29. Double Wheeler Time
The driver of this motorized shopping cart has tied a wheelchair to the back end, and the result is a towing solution that is a dream combination for obese people in need of help while shopping.
30. High Suspension Golf Cart
This golf cart rides extremely high, and nobody probably knows why. Like the lawnmower we had earlier, you gain nothing from this except looking special, which goes both ways.
31. Fish Truck
This poor pickup truck has been turned into a bass. Unless you live and breathe fishing, why would you do this? We feel bad for the truck, as nobody deserves this kind of a paint job.
32. Hunting Trophy Truck
PETA would lose their minds if they come across this silly truck. It has been fitted with skulls, bones, hides, and tails of dozens of hunted prey. This driver has to be an avid big game hunter.
33. John Deer Motorcycle Hybrid
This guy is living the dream, at least his own that is. He has combined a bike with elements of a John Deer tractor. His lady friend seems to enjoy it, so that is a win for him! It takes a lot of skill to make something like this, so we give credit where it is due.
34. Giant Front Wheel
This silly bike has a large front wheel, and the whole design looks like a DIY project. The boy seems proud of it, and we just hope it is safe enough to ride around.
35. Monster Truck Wedding Ceremony
This happy couple decided to have their wedding ceremony in the back of a monster truck, which is parked in the middle of a muddy puddle. Romance at its finest!
36. Truck Bus
This bus has been made by welding together parts from at least 6 different SUV and trucks. It looks like it will fall apart any second now.
