What is under the hood?

Within the front wheels, we find two motors that are the sources of the all-electric power. For the regular road use, peak power stands at 540 horsepower (400kW). The figure rises to a whopping 1,360 horsepower (1,000kW) in the ‘circuit’ mode. This also allows the driver to experience the monstrous capabilities of the DS Performance suspension, which is the technical team of DS’s Formula E program. The chassis is carbon fiber, and it sits on an innovative set of springs and torsion bars. An advanced system developed to optimize performance on whatever surface you find yourself controls the deceleration, grip, and traction.

The dream car for 2035 designed by DS Automobiles creates an asymmetric, three-seat concept with a unique combination of two vehicles in one. This allows the future owners to pick the driving mode that matches their need and desire at any moment. Because of the use of new technologies, the body is capable of recovering its original form after potential impact. The setup of the front grille and the cooling system are able to adapt to the driver’s urge. Thanks to the DS LIGHT VEIL light curtains, the brightness adjusts through a function based on the requirements of the car, the occupants, and the car’s surroundings.
