DeLorean DMC-12 is not completely died out, and you will be able to buy it in 2018. The DeLorean Motor Company was re-established again and the announcement from a couple of years ago said that people would be able to buy the new DMC-12 model. However, the number of the vehicles produced is very limited and even if you want this car for yourself, you might find it difficult to get one.
