The 2017 Cadillac CTS Has Been Spotted

The 2017 Cadillac CTS model has been caught undisguised in the United States. Few spy photos that were taken during test clearly suggest that we are getting a new version.

It doesn’t bring great aesthetic changes, but the most obvious are that the car has been equipped with a modestly revised grille that mimics the one found on the XT5 and CT6. With this move, Cady wishes to bring it closer to other vehicles in the lineup. Also, we can see a new rear bumper and restyled exhaust tips.

It should be noted that we are now getting an improved CUE infotainment system. Reports suggest that the engine range should remain unchanged.

The base engine will be the 2.0-liter I4 capable of offering 268 hp. Second in the lineup is the 3.6-liter V6 powerplant that pumps out 335 hp.

Buyers that are looking for something more powerful can opt for the CTS V-sport, which has a twin turbo 3.6-liter V6 delivering impressive 420 hp and 582 Nm.

Later, we should receive plug-in hybrid version and upgraded CTS-V with a new 10-speed automatic transmission.
The official introduction of the 2017 Cadillac CTS is scheduled for summer but expect more details to come even before its release.
