13 SUV/Pickup Modifications That Will Shock You

People are usually modifying their vehicles in order to make them look better. They also want to add a personal touch and make their vehicle specific. Usually, subtle modifications are best and once you change too much you lose the intended feel of the car, which becomes another vehicle. Here are 13 people who modified their SUV’s or pickups to the extreme.

13. Exclusive Carriage

Why not make a carriage out of your vehicle. This luxurious SUV has been turned into one and while the driver will have a comfortable seat, the passengers are the ones who will enjoy the ride.

12. Jeep Low Rider

Jeep has had fantastic models in the SUV segment over the years. They are one of the leaders in the industry and with reliable four-wheeler that came out Jeep’s facilities you could conquer different terrains easily. Never have they been turned into low-riders, though. Or have they?

11. Stilts

This is an incredible modification, but it is also confusing. Why would you want to raise your vehicle to that height and turn it into a vulnerable tank of sorts? The caterpillar tracks look cool, we must say.

10. Wild West

Another SUV/carriage made it to the list, but this one is not that extreme. However, it comes with a set of wheels that were seen only in the American Wild West centuries ago. The wheels do give Hummer a special flavor.

9. Low Pick Up

It is not that hard to understand why there are a lot of low-rider fans. These cars just look awesome. And turning pickup into a low-rider is brilliant if the final result is something like this.

8. Low and Blue

This pickup is also lowered, but unlike the last one you have seen, it has a sportier feel to it. Sky blue color is used in combination with yellow flames. Don’t you like it?

7. Monster Wheels

Turning a Toyota into a monster truck is not the best idea. Massive wheels are placed underneath this vehicle just to make it look as powerful as possible. All this monster truck lacks is the awesome design. As long as it is safe to drive, that’s fine.

6. Attempted Monster

There are plenty of modification jobs that failed miserably. And this is a perfect example. Putting hydraulics and improving ground clearance significantly makes this Chevy Silverado looks like a beggar. It is not the car we hate. The Silverado can totally pull this idea off, but there have been a lot of mistakes during construction.

5. KIA Tank

It appears that people love introducing caterpillar tracks to their vehicles. And the KIA with such tracks instead of regular tires look pretty well, we must admit. It probably doesn’t go as fast, but it is a useful mode if you want to make a detour.

4. True Mod

Sometimes it is difficult to tell fact from fiction. The model you can see here is the Ford F-550 but it is heavily customized. The futuristic look and black color gives it a mysterious aspect. Just imagine, the government heading somewhere to meet with aliens. It sounds about right.

3. Just Change It

The point of modifications is to make your vehicle stand out and as long as you like it doesn’t matter what other people think or say about your car. This model has gone through a difficult overhaul and some people like it and some don’t. What do you think?

2. Workhorse

This Ford had to be reconstructed because the pickup is used for work. It has to carry heavy loads and pass through mud and dirt.

1. Black and White

This model is a true example of modifying your vehicle in the right way. The owner paid attention to every detail and those wheels are gigantic. The entire car look well and the color combination is stunning.
